Sisters United in Human Service, Inc. is proud to host the 19th Annual Interfaith Health and Human Service Conference. This year's theme is "Healthy Relationships: Strengthening Our Connections." We endeavor to provide an engaging conference experience, offering attendees faith centered dialogue with a special focus on developing and maintaining healthy relationships with God, self, family and community.
Why are healthy relationships important? In today’s world it is vitally important that we invest in the special ties that bind us together. Connecting with others may be the most important thing one can do in life. In fact, many people feel there's nothing more important than their close relationships. These connections satisfy a basic human need and desire to be close to and supported by others. Studies have shown that people are happier, healthier and even live longer when they have strong close relationships in their lives
Who will facilitate these conversations? Our workshop presenters have been specially chosen to share from their knowledge and expertise. They each are highly regarded professionals representing various fields of study and religious backgrounds. Each presenter has a single focus; to ensure that attendees understand the value and importance in forming healthy connections with God, self, family and community. We hope to see you this year!
