The world and all things in the world are precious but the most precious thing in the world is a virtuous woman.

Becoming a Virtuous Woman: Mentoring and Supporting our Girls

For over 20 years, the Rites of Unthaa program has empowered over two hundred girls to embrace Islamic morals, leadership, and sisterhood as they transition into adulthood. Designed for adolescent girls aged 13-17, this eight-week program, led by our members, instills self-worth, purpose, and principled womanhood.

This program aims to cultivate virtue and resilience through:

  • Quranic based teachings on spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical growth

  • Bonding activities to build sisterhood and a sense of community

  • Self-care, etiquette, and hygiene education

  • Family life values and communication

  • Leadership skills and conflict resolution

  • Creative expression and team building

  • Outdoor adventures to develop trust and character

By participating in Rites of Unthaa, girls will gain the confidence, wisdom, and support network needed to navigate adolescence and embrace the future as empowered young women of faith.
