Feeding the Hungry with Compassion

For over 25 years, Sisters United in Human Service has upheld its mission of service through the Feed the Homeless and Hungry Program.

Each Sunday, dedicated volunteer teams prepare and distribute healthy, halal meals to those in need in our community. Our efforts are sustained by the compassion of 50 weekly volunteers, who donate drinks and vegetables. Sisters United provides the meats and paper goods. The meals are made complete through bread and pastry donations from Panera Bread Company.

Over the years, the number served has fluctuated as other faith-based and charitable organizations have also increased efforts to feed the hungry. We see this as a positive sign of growing concern for our community's most vulnerable.
